At Berwick Care, sustainability is at the core of everything we do. From achieving 100% landfill avoidance and making monthly donations to a local food bank, to moving into a new premises to run a more sustainable operation, we are constantly finding ways to reduce our environmental impact. We have a bike to work scheme for employees

We are committed to providing a comfortable work environment for our employees, providing free food for staff and an 'Employee Wellness' programme with Bupa

In 2023 we donated a total of £57,591 to charity and actively raise awareness for causes and charities with important messages

93% of all our waste is recycled and the rest is used for refuse derived fuels

All company cars are electric or hybrid

We are moving to a new premises that will allow us to run a more sustainable operation

We have incorporated sustainability training into our COSHH awareness sessions

We help reduce our customers supply chain and reduce their carbon footprint by delivering a wide range of products

The Berwick Care LEAN audit provides you with valuable data that helps reduce your spend and become more sustainable

We offer sustainable laundry systems that reduce chemical, water and energy usage

We encourage the use of reusable laundry bags, instead of single use disposable bags

Sustainable sourcing, our procurement team actively work on sourcing products in the UK

We offer a recycling service on furniture

We only use vegan leather on our furniture products, for a leather look

All timber used in our furniture range is FSC certified

We have introduced sustainable, recycled fabrics to our range of furniture

Where possible we sell concentrated products to minimise plastic use and reduce our carbon footprint

We comply with all anti-slavery and child employment regulations, ensuring the same of our supply chain

All of our paper products are FSC sourced
